The population used is student extracurricular volleyball SMPN 1 Mranggen to 20 student and 20 samples of student, the sample used was all of total population by using total sampling. This type of research is a pre-post test design experiment.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of push-up training and overhead triceps Dumbbell training on the overhead serving results on the extracurricular volley of the students. The problem in this study are the lack of arm muscle strength so that student are not able to serve the volley ball with the correct technique, most student are less able to serve above the net.
